Kachin Ceremonial Dance Skirt from Northern Myanmar. Made from wool and cotton and the lap section is solid black and the back ground of the lower half a deep red with a very intricate background repeating design. The middle section of the lower half has nice multicolored mountain shaped design with smaller single V patterns just below the lap and between. This skirt has a lot of work and skill in it and the colors are very sharp with no fading. It is in perfect condition. 29 ½ ?X 58?
