PATTERNS:
Chili.- The intricate zig-zaging lines of this pattern represent the famed Inca roads which stretched throughout its empire. Hand woven in three colors made of natural dyes.
Ichu inti.- The sun (known as Itni in Quechua) is a deity revered by the Incas, and still remains of great importance in the traditions of the Q'ero community. It is represented here in this tri-color geometric pattern made up of a large and small diamonds, with radiating lines inspired by the thorns of the local Inchu plant .
Puntas.- This design reflects the rich Q'ero landscape with its high peaks and steep slopes.
